Aries: The Ram
Aries: The Ram
Aries, the New Moon in Sagittarius is very good for you. You have long been hard at it and it’s time to break free a bit. Maybe you feel like doing something very different or exotic; an antidote for this would be finally getting groceries to make that Chinese dish you’ve always wanted to try making. It will help curb your yearning for distant lands until you can actually plan a trip. You don’t have to take a real trip you know — what is *real*, anyway? Google any place on the planet and it’s very likely Google Explorers have gone there for you! It’s a great time to stretch your mind and your thinking.
If you’re drawn inward, that’s okay, too. A journey within is the most important journey of all. Maybe you’ve been thinking about the underdogs and why you always feel compelled to champion them (you are wonderful!). Maybe you’re just trying to understand your motivations in order to better channel your energies in this way.
Contemplate: What would you like to do next, Aries, if you could do anything you please? In what way can you do what you wish, even from your own comfy armchair?
Caveat: Make sure you’re not taking on too much or offering too much support at this time as it’s very likely you’ll speak before thinking things through.
ASTRO-MINDER™ Thursday, July 3, 2014: If you feel like things are picking up speed it’s because they are. Mercury is direct and gaining momentum. Most of you will notice there are suddenly several irons in the fire and they look a whole lot like the irons from the end of May; that’s because they are. This is a good thing, trust me! You do trust me, don’t you? C’mon. I’d never hurt you. I LOVE you too much!
This is the third and last time you’ll have to go over these same wrinkles to iron them out for good! So be sure to do what you have to do, get it right this time, use some spray starch if you have to, but get things smoothed out as best as you can. We’ve talked about the sense of discomfort that we will feel around the 4th. If tomorrow, July 4th celebrations, in the USA aren’t really appealing to you because you’re feeling kind of “off”, then mind your instincts and just stay at home.
If you have pets, of course, protect their sensitive ears from fireworks and be sure they are secured so they don’t bolt out of your yard and into a road or street. My pretty chocolate labrador went missing one year for many hours and I thought I would never see her again. Monty, my 20-year-old, thought to, um, water a tree with his scent so the dog could smell him and her way home if she’d become lost or was disoriented. It sure did work: Truffle showed up exhausted and a bit worse for the wear, and now I never cease marveling at the power of pee!
Be safe, my friends. Don’t drink or do drugs and then drive ANYTHING because you could kill someone or a few people and you’ll likely live to see the rest of your life in prison. That’s if you don’t end up in a vegetative state the rest of your life. Think on that.
God bless you all! Happy 4th!

Dear Aries, there’s been a lot of thinking going on in your precious head. You’ve been wondering what to do in a complex and even challenging personal situation. Perhaps this situation is work related, house and home related, or even relationship related, but there is strong tie to finances all the same. Perhaps you’ve analyzed your current situation — and you would do well to — and have located flaws and their sources. You realize that your choices are not always to blame, not always the source of current dissatisfaction, considering we can only make choices with as much information as we have at the time. One cannot predict every aspect of future and there is no such thing as a crystal ball that predicts final outcome. In that sense, I want you to forgive yourself and be more kind and gentle with precious you.
Now, there are choices you will have to make, Aries, and there is something I want you to consider: if you only have as much information as is available at any one given time, that is all you have to work with. Aside from surface appearance, obvious factors, and the information we can gather, we are to use our instincts, intuition, ability to discern, and historical experiences. With that said, history is relevant and should help you make the next critical decision.
There are going to be options for you, Aries, but you need to look deeper than the surface yet at the same time you must overlook some surface appearance. While that may sound contradictory, I trust you know how to do this. Things may not always be as they appear, one way or the other. When making decisions the rest of the week, I advise you to use your best judgment, study all situations carefully, but employ the cliche to not judge a book only by its cover. The contents of a book may be fascinating but if we only look at the cover to make impulse decision, we may say, “Well, that book doesn’t look interesting at all. Look at the plain cover. Look at the cheap binding and thin paper.” If you do that, dear Aries, you may miss something of much value in a situation, even a person, because you think you know better. What to do? Look at the cover. Open the book. Read some of the contents, then make a decision. Don’t take someone up on an offer they make or an opportunity that presents just because it all looks good on the outside, on the surface.
Contemplate: Analyze everything objectively while not underestimating anything.

You may be feeling that you just can’t do what you need or want to do. What are you afraid of, anyway? Some past experience repeating itself? This is not the past, Aries, this is the present. While you are currently reinventing your life and self you should consider that what you do could help others in your circle by extension. If you’re asked to give a professional opinion, don’t let fear hold you back from doing so. There could be an opportunity that you miss — perhaps someone you would not otherwise meet — if you don’t speak up and share your talents. Go forward with confidence — it’s okay now — just remember that today is not yesterday and tomorrow remains to be seen.
Contemplate: Leave the past where it is — in the archives.
