The Dog will find the Dragon year a little crazy with all the outrageous festivities and celebratory fete the Dragon causes! The Dragon prefers every animal attend his legendary parties and you may not feel up to task but you cannot be missing or the Dragon will take note! You just need to be present, smile and wave with the others, and make sure the Dragon does not find you sleeping or he will wake you with much noise! Respect the Dragon and the Dragon will bless you with a little peace that you crave but ignore the Dragon’s fanfare and he will not be very easy to deal with! This is not a year to make public your chagrin with the noisy Dragon year: this is a year to blend in a bit even if you don’t much feel like it or you will be pulled along, anyway! Some issues with your closest circles, perhaps a family member or the family itself could prove too much drama for you. Watch your tongue and perhaps bite it as the Horse is advised to do and there will be less repercussion in family affairs. This is a year to think before you speak or act lest you bring the Dragon’s fire to your own door. Many opportunities to learn and grow for the Dog this year so long as the Dog is obedient and understands that the Dragon year belongs to the Dragon and no one else. While it seems daunting a task to remain tactful in the face of such obvious partying and disregard for peace and quite, Dogs do well to just plaster a smile on their face, eat the food, and enjoy the merriment while it lasts. Anyway, it’s more fun to watch the Monkeys and Rooster’s wild abandon as there should always someone present to record the antics of the others! Enjoy the Dragon year, dear Dog people, after all, it’s better a year for you than for the Tigers who would do well to lock themselves in cages! You, at least, are free to roam! Just remember: Dogs may bark — a little! — but they must watch themselves lest they bite and get into trouble!
What are Dog people like?
Dog people are just as you’d imagine, possessing such traits as loyal and humble dogs do. Inherently loyal, they are also very truthful, honest, and people trust them because they know they can and no Dog person blabs their mouths no matter what they are told or what they know. Prone to a bit of selfishness, Dog people can also be quite stubborn and sometimes as off the wall as the Rooster people, just more reservedly so. Dog people are not gold diggers nor do they care much for fame and fortune. Though they don’t really care about money or hoarding it, they seem lucky in life and often have money around to spare. While the Dog is loved by many, then tend to be somewhat aloof and even cold, emotionally speaking. They don’t much care for the noise of parties and festivities and that is why they are often a bit more cranky and cantankerous than usual in Dragon years: the Dragon only knows party and fun, celebration and frivolity during their years while the Dog would prefer to stay home in their comfortable houses. Dog people can be prone to hurting others with their harsh criticism and often very sharp tongues. These attributes, while not very comfy for most. make Dog people excellent leaders in whatever their chosen fields. Nothing much bothers them and they don’t bother with too much sensitivity. While they sound a bit harsh, a Dog’s bark is usually worse than its bite, but a bark is a bark, nonetheless, and some don’t take kindly to it. They are ethical bar none and often make great critics! They are trustworthy to a tee and often are managers of great responsibility and carefully guard sensitive data. The Dog would do well to put a little sugar on their tongues before they hurt another with words they find appropriate and others find a little hard to swallow. Intelligent and sharp, if anyone needs someone to trust, you can trust a Dog with your life! Very honest, they may deliver words others find painful, but more often than not, the harsh words are laced with love because they really do care about people, even when they bark a bit!
Dog people are very compatible with Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit types!
