I want to say thank you.

0

Thank YouHello, friends! I hope you’re all doing well, are healthy, and things are going your way. We’ve had a little virus come around and it was nuisance! It took weeks for my eldest to get better, then the middle boy got it — gave it to me — and then the youngest. Odd thing is the doctor wanted us vaccinated while we were not feeling best; I acquiesced for the middle boy and myself and then immediately regretted that I didn’t say “no thanks, when I’m better”. Middle boy missed a bid debate tournament and then I ended up sick for several days. And my arm was so sore! The boy got the live flu virus, I got the dead one, and that didn’t seem to matter much. It still kicked my butt and I resented it and only felt better that I’d likely not get the flu or pass it to any of you! That same boy and I did really have influenza a few years ago and it is very terrible; it is worth getting the shots, to me, if that means I help keep other people from ever getting that terrible thing. They also gave me a few other vaccinations and I felt like a big, fat, whiny baby. There’s an update about the boys and I; now you will always associate with me sitting on a paper bench whining about “why oh why do I have to get these shots! Can you give it to yourself, first?”

I do want to thank you all for signing up (I see that!), for subscribing to my YouTube channel (I see that!), and for making appointments with me for private consultations (I love that — thank you!). I feel honored, really. It’s not even like this is my website; this is our website. It’s not really my YouTube channel; it’s ours. And when you make these appointments with me, and trust me with the most personal and often sensitive parts of your lives, I feel honored, very honored to be a part of your life. I really mean that — I’m not blowing smoke up your dress (or trousers) — I mean it the way you know me to mean things which means…things very deeply.

We’re all family, anyway, no matter who we are, where we’re from, or what we believe or don’t. Most of us already know this; some of us are getting to know this and are feeling the real magic and sweetness that it is. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that people care about each other in a world that doesn’t always make sense at all.

I just want you to know that I care about you, I appreciate you, and I love you very much.

Thanks again, for everything!

God bless you, Jesus LOVES you, and so do I.

Rita :)

I think of you so much the thought clouds curl my hair!

Ipsum thought cloudI have so much I want to share with you I fear I may explode. I know that sounds gross–just bear with me. I’ll clean up if I do bust.

I’ll do my best to keep up with everything but really, what I’d like to share most with you is HOPE; everything’s going to be alright.

No! Everything’s going to be AMAZING.

Much love to you! God bless.

Yes, I can hear you screaming. I love you, too!

Hey friends,

I mention this in the videos as I’m recording for the week of January 5th-11th. I wasn’t going to record them as I’d just finished your 2015 videos. I’ve been working hard to make things fun and exciting — even invigorating for you. Well, maybe not invigorating but you tell me.

Anyway, I just thought there was no way I could do it all. And then the messages started pouring in and I felt like bad mother! So I did one video, saw some of the cards for the next–and considering some of the messages I received–I thought I’d better get it together and do this week, anyway!

So, they’ll go up as I do them and if you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel and set your notifications to alert you, you’ll know exactly when that happens. I do things in a certain order to get the videos up for you as quickly as possible but subscribing is the first level of notification you can get. I am fast though, I can notify several galaxies at once because I’ve gone…SUPER SAIYAN!

Never forget that YOU are SUPER SAIYAN, TOO!

Sorry to report: Prayer Request Spam!

0

PrayAnd it breaks my heart! The problem is with the ‘Amen’ plugin. I get so much spam junk in it that it’s impossible to deal with. I have all the tools and features imaginable to control spammy stuff and yet this little plugin for prayer requests, like so many of them, just seems to draw the attention of spammers. It could be any number of things, but after studying it and observing the plugin working (and choking on spam) it’s obvious it’s something the author may need to correct or advise on.

Never stop praying for others. Certainly never stop asking for people to pray for you if you need it! Don’t be shy. People like me do pray for everyone else and that includes you; you don’t even need to ask. I’ll pray for you and yours, every day.

God bless!

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
It’s the best time of the year
I don’t know if there’ll be snow
…but have a cup of cheer

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
And when you walk down the street
Say hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet

Oh, ho
The mistletoe
Hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you
Kiss her…once for me

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
And in case you didn’t hear
Oh by golly
Have a holly, jolly Christmas this year

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
It’s the best time of the year

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
And when you walk down the street
Say hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet

Oh, ho
The mistletoe
Hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you
Kiss her once for me

Have a holly, jolly Christmas
And in case you didn’t hear

Still working on it!

Thanks for your patience!

Links Aren’t Live: But I am, tho a vacuum tried to eat me.

0

Woman with mop and bucketI’m a little slow because of allergy issues due to a vacuum exploding in my face last night. KKW didn’t ‘break the Internet’ but maybe she broke my new vacuum; it was as full of sh*t as her a**! I’m eating a lot of Benadryl and I feel like a bag of sleepy winter larvae! Sleepy winter larvae. I have no idea why I wrote that. I also don’t know if sleepy winter larvae exist or if I’m the only one. Anyway, this site is migrated, up, live, and lives at ritayanez.com.

I’m getting a lot of questions about Namecheap and why I chose them; it took me weeks to figure out who was the best, all around. I’ve placed a link to Namecheap in my widgets on the right; that will take you directly to them. They handle my hosting, SSL, domain — all of it. I wouldn’t suggest them to you if I wasn’t using them; I don’t like that bullsh*t of people pushing products and services that they don’t use or even know. I did the research so you can benefit from it.

I’m using WordPress 4.0 and lots of plugins. I’m also modifying the code using a child theme so you’ll likely see changes that come and go as I test them. This is still the Mystique theme but I am using 2.5.7; anything above 3.0 isn’t working right (that was frustrating) and 2.5.7, or ‘classic’ as it’s sometimes called, seems easiest to modify for me. There’s a learning curve associated with what I’m working on and I’m actually having fun. But if learning isn’t your idea of fun, don’t try this at home and hire someone to do it for you. Even if I could afford to have someone else work on this for me, I prefer to just go it alone as much as possible. This kind of thing is usually fun for me!

Learning is the best way to keep your brain healthy so I encourage you to spend time trying new things like what I’m doing. Just be sure you do some research first so you don’t get really frustrated with problems associated with lack of support from the wrong hosting company. I research everything and yeah, I stay up late. A lot! But they’re always there at NC and I’m learning not to feel ‘bad’ about bugging them.

Have fun and thanks for your patience. This is fun for me to do; at the end of the day it’s all about you and that makes me happy.

God bless!
